Regional Marketing Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day marketing needs across multiple sites (Sportime Randall’s Island, Sportime Harbor Island, Sportime Lake Isle and Sportime Schenectady) overseeing both internal and external marketing initiatives.This role involves drafting, editing, and tracking copy for email campaigns, press releases,and website content, as well as administering marketing programs, initiatives, and campaigns. Additionally, the coordinator will provide direct support to program and site staff in their marketing efforts.
This position requires strong writing and graphic design skills, exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic. The role encompasses all aspects of marketing—both digital and print—and may involve managing external vendors and third-party web tools. The ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and tight deadlines is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the Executive Directors of Marketing and to the sites’ General Managers
- Collaborate with Social Media Managers to align messaging across platforms and promote programs, initiatives and events at assigned sites
- Assist and implement content and promotional calendar (e-commerce, email blasts, cyclical promotions, etc.)
- Design and create marketing materials for club initiatives including flyers, posters, banners, social posts, email blasts and other collateral.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns
- Additional responsibilities as needed
- 5+ years of past work experience as a designer in marketing or similar role
- 5+ years of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Knowledge of social media platforms and design guidelines
- Passion for staying current on marketing trends
- Capacity to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong graphic design software skills - Full Creative Cloud Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Google suite tools - sheets, docs, slides, others
- Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Social media creator tools
- Friendly, outgoing and methodical
- Ability to think strategically and analytically
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Familiarity with tennis, pickleball and sports a plus
